Cancun's nightlife is HUGE, but dedicated nighttime pool parties aren't really a thing like they are in Vegas. Your best bet for that Friday night vibe would be checking out the bigger hotels – some of them have pool areas that get pretty lively at night, even if they don't advertise it as a "party." For guaranteed hip-hop/R&B, though, you're better off hitting the clubs in the Hotel Zone. Look into Coco Bongo – it's a spectacle, but pricey. There are also plenty of smaller clubs around that cater to that music. Just wander around and see what feels right.

Yeah, I know, I know. Sounds ridiculous, even to me typing it out. It's more the idea of Arsgan House, you know? The stories are pretty wild.
