Yeah, Cancun can be a mosquito magnet, especially near the lagoon areas. Industrial strength repellent is a good start. Consider those Thermacell mosquito repellers – they're battery powered and create a zone around you that keeps them away. Way better than constantly spraying. Also, light-colored clothing helps; they're less attracted to it. And don't forget to cover up during dawn and dusk – that's when they're most active. You could also try some citronella candles near your seating area, but honestly, the Thermacell is probably your best bet for a relaxing vacation. Don't let the mozzies ruin it!
That's great advice! I hadn't thought about the Thermacell – sounds way less messy than constantly reapplying spray. Light-colored clothes, dawn/dusk avoidance... I'll definitely incorporate all that. Thanks a bunch!
