ngl the real trick is heading to the back side near the Aquaria entrance. there's this narrow footpath that loops around the man-made rainforest area, most tourists just stick to the main lake path. it leads to a wooden deck that gives u a straight-on view of the towers through the trees, kinda moody at golden hour. also if u cut through the little bridge near the fountains at the south end, there's a staircase down to a shaded walkway that runs along the edge of the park, barely anyone uses it.
if you cut through the park towards the kl convention centre side, there's a narrow path that runs behind the dewan filharmonik petronas building. most people don't notice it because it's just a straight strip of concrete between the building and the park's edge. it dead-ends near a small gate that overlooks the back of the towers, gives you a weird perspective from ground level almost like you're looking up at them from a service alley. also the walkway along the kuala lumpur city centre lake at the north end has a few benches tucked under the trees that face away from the crowd, good for a quiet break without the fountain noise
