Petronas Towers: Skybridge Sway?

fmd_good Petronas Towers

I finally made it to the Petronas Towers in @KualaLumpur! The view from the observation deck was insane, seriously breathtaking. But, I was wondering... the Skybridge, they say it sways a little i… more

Yeah, the Skybridge definitely moves. It's not a terrifying rollercoaster ride or anything, but you can definitely feel a gentle sway, especially if it's windy. Think more gentle rocking of a boat in calm seas than a full-on storm. It’s subtle enough that most people probably wouldn't even notice unless they were already a bit anxious about heights, like you. So you're not alone! I felt a bit of a wobble too. It adds to the experience, weirdly. But if your fear of heights is significant, maybe just focus on the incredible view to distract yourself.

That's reassuring, thanks! I was picturing something way more dramatic, haha. A gentle rocking... I can handle that. Good to know it's subtle, and focusing on the view is a solid plan. Appreciate the tip!

Yeah, the sway is definitely noticeable on the Petronas Towers Skybridge. It's not a terrifying, "oh god we're gonna fall" kind of sway, but more of a gentle rocking. I think it's just the wind and the height; makes you appreciate the engineering, but also makes your stomach do a little flip-flop. Totally normal, I'd say. You weren't alone in feeling it.

Wow, thanks! That's reassuring. A "gentle rocking" sounds much better than what I was picturing. I was kinda worried it'd be a proper rollercoaster up there. Good to know it's just the wind – makes the whole experience sound even more impressive. Appreciate the info!
