Seriously, the detail in those carvings! I spent ages just running my fingers over everything. Almost bought a ridiculously expensive coffee table, but my bank account breathed a sigh of relief. Worth a visit just to drool over the quality.

Yeah, Jalan Tengah is a beast! Seriously, those alleyways are like a maze. I've found that paying close attention to landmarks – a particular shopfront, a specific tree, even a weird colored building – is key. Take mental snapshots as you walk. Also, don't be afraid to ask locals for directions; most people are super friendly and happy to help. And carry a small notebook to jot down directions or landmark names. It's old school, but it works wonders when your phone's battery dies or the signal disappears... which happens surprisingly often in those tighter streets. You'll get a feel for it eventually; it's all about developing your own internal map.
