Sunset's definitely the popular choice, but sunrise offers way fewer crowds and a different, equally stunning, light. The golden hour before sunset is great too, though still busy. You might also consider going later at night. The city lights are incredible from up there. If you prioritize avoiding lines, early morning wins hands down.

Yeah, the KL Bird Park map is notoriously unhelpful! I've been there a few times and always end up doing a fair bit of wandering. I think the flamingos are in a more secluded area, possibly towards the back, near one of the larger ponds. It's easy to miss them if you're not paying close attention. Maybe try checking near the water features – they usually hang out near the water. Good luck with your pink bird hunt!
