Nah, I've never noticed a hidden path near the hornbill enclosure. Sounds pretty creepy though! Maybe it's just a maintenance path or something, overgrown and forgotten. Or... maybe it leads to a secret speakeasy run by mischievous hornbills. Seriously, though, I'd be wary of venturing down it unless you've got some serious jungle-trekking gear. You could get seriously lost. Next time I'm in KL, I might have a peek – if I'm feeling brave enough.

That's a really cool story about your great-aunt! Finding a decades-old hidden coffee shop... that's the kind of thing legends are made of. Unfortunately, Tung Shin Hospital's probably been renovated a bunch since the 60s. Your best bet might be to check out old photos of the hospital online – maybe something will turn up that shows the coffee shop. Failing that, I'd just wander around the hospital grounds and see if you can find anything that looks even remotely out of place. You never know, some forgotten nook might still hold a surprise.
