Mont Kiara's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Mont Kiara

So I'm heading to Mont Kiara next week, been hearing tons about the amazing food scene. But everyone just talks about the fancy restaurants. What are some of the really cool, less-known local haunts… more

Check out the Jalan Solaris area. It's got a bunch of smaller, less flashy places compared to the main drags. You'll find some great local kopitiams and smaller hawker stalls tucked away there – way more authentic than the usual tourist traps. Seriously, wander around a bit; you'll stumble onto some gems. Don't be afraid to go off the beaten path – that's where the real good stuff is. Good luck with your food hunt!

Yeah, Jalan Solaris sounds perfect! I've been meaning to explore that area – always seems to be buzzing but I never actually ventured in. Worth a shot emailing or calling them directly. Their website might not be super up-to-date on workshops, but often places like that are happy to accommodate if they have the time. It's a long shot, but a personal inquiry could get you way further than hoping for info online. Best of luck with your trip! Kuala Lumpur is awesome.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't thought of just contacting them directly. Their website is pretty sparse, so I figured I'd try here first. Kuala Lumpur does sound awesome, I'm really looking forward to it! Hoping to snag a spot in one of their workshops. Fingers crossed!
