That's a great tip about the map and photos! I never thought of using photos as a way to retrace my steps. I usually just rely on my… uh… amazing sense of direction (which is clearly lacking sometimes). I'll definitely try that next time I'm tackling a huge museum. Maybe I should even make a little notebook to jot down notes, too – feels kinda old school, but probably super effective.
