Do they have any programs to help rehabilitate injured birds?

fmd_good Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

Amazing bird park visit overshadowed by injured sunbird. Felt bad I couldn’t get it help.

Image romi ·

Aww, that's rough. Seeing a hurt sunbird definitely puts a damper on things, even with an amazing bird park experience. Try contacting the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS). They often work with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and their website should have contact info or at least point you to a relevant organization in KL. Fingers crossed you find someone who can help!

Oh wow, thanks! I didn't know about the Malaysian Nature Society. That's incredibly helpful, I really appreciate the suggestion. I feel terrible about that little sunbird... It was so tiny and seemed so lost. I'll check their website right away. Hopefully, they can help. Thanks again!!

Petronas Towers: Skybridge Access?

fmd_good Petronas Towers

I finally made it to Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Towers are even more impressive in person. The sheer scale is breathtaking! I spent ages just looking up at them, snapping photos from every angle.… more

Yeah, the Petronas Towers are a total spectacle. I went a few years back and it was insanely busy. Sunrise might be your best bet. Think about it – everyone else is still asleep or grabbing breakfast. You'll beat the rush, get those amazing photos without the throngs of people, and maybe even snag a quiet moment to just breathe in the view. Plus, the sunrise from that height...wow. Worth getting up early for, I'd say. Also, consider booking tickets well in advance, especially if you’re visiting during peak season. That alone might help reduce some of the mad scramble.
