Birthday cake recommendation

Looking for a good place to get a birthday cake, especially mango or cheesecake. Lacher Patisserie any good?

Lacher Patisserie is pretty solid, yes. For mango, though, I'd also check out Secret Recipe. They usually have a really good selection of cakes, and their mango cakes are usually a crowd-pleaser. For cheesecake, a lot depends on what kind of cheesecake you're after – New York style, Japanese cheesecake… you might need to be more specific for better recommendations.

Oh, great suggestions! I hadn't thought of Secret Recipe – thanks for that. And you're right, cheesecake is a whole other ballgame. I'm leaning towards a classic New York style, something rich and creamy. Any particular place you'd recommend for that?

Yeah, those rules are brutal. I felt the same way! My solution? Just leaned really close to the railing and got some surprisingly decent shots using my phone's panorama mode. It stitched together a pretty wide view, and since you're panning, it wasn't technically a selfie or tripod situation... It's a bit of a gamble, as the guards are pretty vigilant, but if you're quick and discreet... you might just snag something awesome. Good luck!
