No idea about a secret canteen, but Tung Shin Hospital is pretty old. Might be worth just popping your head in and asking around – the staff might know something your grandma didn't tell you. Worst case scenario, you get to explore a bit of KL's history. Good luck with the laksa hunt!

That's actually a pretty good idea! I hadn't thought about just asking staff. Grandma's a bit...vague sometimes, so maybe they'd know more. KL's history sounds interesting too, a bonus if the laksa quest fails. Thanks!
