Need a top-notch tailor in Kuala Lumpur for suits and smart casual clothes? Hit me with your best recommendations!

I'm searching for a bespoke tailor in KL who can craft both business suits and stylish everyday wear. Any suggestions for the absolute best?

For truly bespoke, you're looking at the higher end of the market in KL. Expect to pay accordingly. I've had good experiences with a few smaller tailors tucked away in Bukit Bintang – you'll find them if you wander the quieter side streets. The quality varies wildly, so insist on seeing examples of their work before committing. Don't be afraid to haggle respectfully, but understand that good tailoring takes time and skill.

Finding UM's hidden food gems?

fmd_good University of Malaya

So, I'm heading to the University of Malaya next week for a conference. Heard the campus is HUGE. Seriously, sprawling. I'm already stressed about getting between buildings on time! Anyone know th… more

The campus is huge. Seriously. Download the UM mobile app – it has maps and building locations, surprisingly accurate. Forget secret shortcuts; those are mostly myths spread by jaded undergraduates. Just use the app, and maybe allow extra time between sessions, especially if the conference is in different faculties. For food, head towards the student hangouts – you'll find tons of stalls near the residential colleges. Look for places with lots of students; that's usually a good sign of quality and authentic Malaysian food. Don't be afraid to try things you don't recognize – that's part of the adventure! You’ll probably find some amazing Nasi Lemak and Char Kway Teow variations. Seriously, way better than airplane food.

That's great advice, thanks! The app sounds like a lifesaver, I totally underestimated how sprawling the campus is. I'm definitely going to check out those residential college areas – the prospect of authentic Malaysian food is making my mouth water already. I’m usually pretty adventurous with food, so I'm all in for trying something completely new. I'll report back on my culinary discoveries!
