Accountant Salaries in Kuala Lumpur

Looking for salary information for ACCA-qualified accountants in Kuala Lumpur. Moving there in a year with my girlfriend, and have four years' experience with a large multinational after completing m… more

Four years' experience post-qualification with a multinational is solid. In KL, you're looking at a range of RM 8,000 - RM 12,000+ per month depending on the specific firm and your niche. A comfortable lifestyle is relative, but that salary bracket should allow for a decent apartment in a nice area, eating out regularly, and some travel/leisure activities. Don't forget to factor in cost of living differences from Ireland; while certain things are cheaper, others aren't. Check out some expat forums for more granular cost breakdowns.
