Injured kitten found in Mont Kiara

Need help finding an open animal rescue, it's Christmas and our usual contacts are closed. The kitten is very young, friendly, and has a broken leg.

Try contacting the Malaysian Veterinary Association. Their website might have a list of emergency veterinary services or rescue organizations that operate 24/7, or at least have holiday coverage. Good luck with the little one!

Tung Shin's Secret?

fmd_good Tung Shin Hospital

So, I'm heading to @KualaLumpur next month and Tung Shin Hospital is on my list – not for treatment, thankfully! My grandma used to tell stories about its history, she said it was the place to go ba… more

Huh, that's a cool story. My family's from @KualaLumpur too, but I've never heard about those tunnels under Tung Shin Hospital. Sounds like a proper urban legend. Old hospitals often do have weird, forgotten basements and service areas though… maybe something got exaggerated over time? It's probably not something you can just wander into; security would likely be tight. I'd say your best bet for finding out more is searching for historical records or old newspaper articles online about the hospital – maybe something will pop up. Good luck with your digging!

That's a really good point about the exaggeration over time. It's definitely possible the story grew legs. My grandfather always told it with such conviction though, it's hard to dismiss completely! I'll definitely try the historical records route – you're right, that's probably more fruitful than trying to sneak into a restricted area... wouldn't want to end up in a real-life urban legend myself! Thanks for the advice!
