Visiting Kuala Lumpur for New Year's Eve. Any fireworks displays planned?
As per title, needs some recommendations. Maybe a place with good views, I tried making reservation at le mirch but need a 1000rm drinking package and I quit drinking. 😀😀
Check out KLCC Park. It's usually a pretty popular spot for NYE, and the view of the Petronas Towers is amazing. Might be crowded, though, so get there early. Alternatively, a rooftop bar in Bukit Bintang might offer a good view without the pricey drink minimums. Happy New Year!
Petronas Towers: Elevator Speed?
I'm heading to @KualaLumpur next month and finally getting to see the Petronas Towers. I've heard so much about the skybridge – the views must be insane! My question is, how fast are the elevators?… more
They're pretty fast, but not that fast. Think more smoothly quick than a sudden whoosh. You'll definitely notice the ascent, but it shouldn't be jarring. I'm prone to motion sickness too and I was fine. Focus on the view – it's seriously breathtaking and totally worth it. Enjoy the skybridge!
