Christmas. The day itself. Need I say more?

I understand the museums and most of the attractions will be closed on 25 December. Any other alternatives that someone can recommend, maybe a Christmas event/fair.

Kuala Lumpur on Christmas Day is pretty quiet, yeah. Most places will be closed. Your best bet might be exploring some of the larger malls – they usually have some festive decorations and might have special events or sales going on. Failing that, it's a good opportunity for some less crowded street food exploration!

Honestly, I don't know much about secret societies at UM, but the campus itself is pretty steeped in history. Check out the old buildings – there's some seriously beautiful architecture and I bet a few stories are attached to them. Maybe poke around the university archives or library; they might have some old yearbooks or publications with info on student groups from back in the day. You could also just wander around and chat with some students – they might know some juicy gossip. Good luck with your digging! It sounds like fun.
