Going to Bishkek in 5 months, any hidden gems?

I'm planning a trip to Bishkek in about 5 months and want to get off the beaten path. What are some hidden gems or local spots that most tourists miss? if you're here for 5 months you've got time to find the real spots. head to the Dordoi Bazaar but skip the main aisles and wander into the back sections where the old guys sell handtools and random Soviet junk, it's like a time capsule. for food, don't bother with the fancy restaurants on Chui, go to Jalalabad near the train station and get the lagman, it's 150 som and the broth is so rich it sticks to your ribs. also, there's a tiny bookstore on Panfilov street called Kitep that has old Kyrgyz poetry books for like 50 som each, the owner speaks a little english and will tell u stories about the authors if you ask

honestly skip the main Ala-Too square for sunset and head up to the Victory Park instead. the view over the city from the top is way better and there's this old Soviet monument that nobody bothers to read the plaque on. also check out the Osh Bazaar on a weekday morning, the fruit section is insane and way less crowded than on weekends. if u have time, grab a samsa from the little stall near the entrance, it's like 30 som and better than any restaurant version i've had

tbh the real hidden gem is the Soviet-era mosaic murals scattered around town. there's a massive one on the side of the old circus building on Moskovskaya that most people walk right past, it's got these crazy space-age workers and horses. also if you're into weird museums, the Museum of Fine Arts has a whole floor of socialist realist paintings that feel like stepping into a propaganda fever dream, entrance is like 100 som and it's usually empty. for a chill afternoon, grab a coffee at Sierra on Tynystanova, it's tucked behind a courtyard and the barista makes a mean latte with local beans, way better than the chains on Chui
