The guide is pretty thorough. One thing I'd add is that the BRT buses can get absolutely packed during rush hour, between 8 and 9 in the morning and 4 and 6 in the afternoon. If you can time your trips outside those windows, you'll have a much more comfortable ride for that 0.35 JOD. I also second the Habibah kanafeh recommendation from the other comment, that place is an institution for a reason.
This is a solid guide, I've been living in Amman for two years and can vouch for most of it. One thing I'd add is that the service taxis (the yellow ones that follow fixed routes) are way more reliable than the minibuses if you're new, just shout your stop to the driver. For street food, try the kanafeh at Habibah Sweets in Al-Balad, it's about 1 JOD a plate and way better than the overpriced stuff on Rainbow Street.
Also, that tip about buying from the Al-Balad market is spot on. I get all my produce there on Friday mornings and it's about 60% cheaper than the grocery stores in Abdoun. The Jordan Pass is worth it if you're doing Petra and Wadi Rum, but if you're just staying in Amman for a few days, paying the 3 JOD entry fees separately is cheaper.

also if you're into coffee, skip the chains on rainbow street and head to rumi cafe in jabal amman. they roast their own beans and do a turkish coffee that'll keep you up for two days. it's down a side street near the british council, easy to miss
honestly this is a solid breakdown. i'd add that if you're staying in jabal amman, the walk down to downtown via the staircases is worth doing at least once - there's a famous one called "the rainbow stairs" with murals and tiny cafes tucked between houses. just be prepared for the hike back up, it's steep lol
