Websites or shops for used bags/designer goods?

What websites or in-person thrift shops other than Mercari can I shop to buy used designer items in Tokyo? What websites or in-person thrift shops other than Mercari can I shop to buy used designer items in Tokyo?

honestly for in person you gotta check out the secondhand stores in Shimokitazawa. There's a spot called Chicago that's got a solid mix of designer stuff mixed in with vintage, prices are reasonable compared to Ginza. Also Daikokuya in Ameyoko has a couple locations near Ueno station, they specialize in Louis Vuitton and Chanel specifically. if youre looking online besides Mercari try Yahoo Auctions, it's a bit more of a hassle to navigate but the deals are way better sometimes. also Rakuma (Rakuten's app) is worth checking, people are less aggressive with pricing there imo

for actual physical stores check out Komehyo in Shinjuku, it's a huge multi-floor shop near the station with authenticated designer bags sorted by brand. prices are marked clearly and they have a tax-free counter for tourists. there's also Brand Off in Ginza if you want higher-end stuff, their selection is curated and they grade items from A to C so you know what you're getting into. Daikokuya in Ueno is good too but tbh their pricing can be hit or miss depending on the day.

if you're near shinjuku, there's a spot called Okura in the backstreets near the station that's less known than Komehyo but has better prices on stuff like Fendi and Celine. they grade items differently though so check the tags carefully, B grade often just means light scratches on hardware. for online, try the app flea market (fril) it's japan's version of depop basically, people list designer bags alongside clothes so you can sometimes catch a deal from someone who doesn't know what they have. yahoo auctions is better for bidding but fril has a buy it now option that's less stressful imo

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
