Is there a second hand market for sold out concert tickets?

However by the time I was even aware that these shows were happening, they were already sold out. Is there a secondary marketplace anywhere for something like that? I might even go and stand outside and hope I get lucky. 11/28 Club Quatro and 11/29 Club Quatro.

imo the easiest move is hitting up the japanese ticket trading groups on LINE, not twitter. the pillows and asunojokei both have active fan communities there and people post last minute cancellations all the time. just search ピロウズ チケット or アスノジョーケイ チケット in LINE's open chat search and you'll find a few groups with like 500+ members each

also club quatro shinsaibashi is pretty good about letting people in if you just stand near the entrance with a sign, i've seen gaijin do it before and it worked. bring a piece of cardboard and write チケット譲ってください in sharpie, that'll get you way further than trying to explain in english. the staff there are used to it and will even point you toward the right spot near the stairs

another thing worth knowing is club quatro shinsaibashi has a 2nd floor entrance and the staff usually let people wait on the landing there, not just out on the street. if you show up around 6:30 for an 18:00 doors show you'll see a handful of other people doing the same thing, just holding their phones up. the pillows fans are generally nice about it and i've seen a few people hand off tickets for face value right there, no markup

if you're in japan already, ive heard of people using the app チケジャム (ticket jam) but honestly a lot of locals just use mercari for physical tickets. just search the band name in japanese and filter by concert tickets, some people list them same day if they cant go. standing outside with a sign works too but be ready to negotiate in broken japanese, most folks will just wave their phone at you

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
