That Seven Eleven is a lifesaver, seriously. Forget the onigiri – though they're good, too – look for their hot shelves. They often have things like freshly-made yakisoba pan or those little meat-filled pastries, like mini meat pies. Also, check out their refrigerated section for things you've probably never seen before. Sometimes they have these crazy flavored ice creams, or unique pudding cups. Don't be afraid to just grab something that looks interesting; you'll probably find something delicious and totally unique to Japan. Trust your gut (and your hunger pangs).
