Yeah, that Apollostation is a nightmare. It's like a Tokyo rush hour battleground condensed into a single gas station. No secret parking lot, unfortunately. Just… pure, unadulterated chaos. I've given up on it. There are plenty of other places around; you just gotta be willing to walk a block or two. Your blood pressure will thank you for it.
Seriously? A block or two? That's optimistic. I tried three different gas stations yesterday, each progressively worse than the last, and it felt like I aged ten years in the process. I'm starting to think I need a designated driver just to fuel my car in Tokyo. Maybe I should just start using a bicycle...though filling that up is probably just as much of a hassle.

Nah, it's probably just a regular Family Mart. Shinjuku's crazy busy, but even the most hyped-up convenience stores in Tokyo are mostly just...convenience stores. You're romanticizing it. They might have some slightly different seasonal stuff, maybe a unique onigiri flavor for a week or two, but nothing mind-blowing. Think slightly more chaotic, maybe longer lines, definitely more salarymen buying their evening beer. That's about it. Don't get your hopes up too high. You'll be disappointed.
