Nah, it's not some secret midnight ramen. Family Mart is… Family Mart. You'll find your standard cup noodles, maybe some onigiri if you're lucky. For actual late-night ramen, you gotta hit up one of the actual ramen shops. Plenty around Shinjuku, even that late. Think smaller places, maybe a little hole-in-the-wall; those are usually the best anyway. Check Google Maps for ramen places open past midnight near your hotel. You'll find something way better than instant noodles. Good luck with the work trip!

Went to a gig there last year. Sound was pretty decent, honestly. Not perfect, it's a big space, but I wouldn't say it was muddy or anything. Could hear everything clearly enough, even in the back. Your friend might be right about the atmosphere though, it's a wicked place. You'll probably have a blast.

Ah, that's reassuring! Thanks for the honest review. "Wicked place" definitely piques my interest... Big space makes sense, I guess, given the name. So, clear sound even at the back is a plus. My friend's hype is making me more excited now.
