Yeah, you're probably right. Standard fare makes sense. My uncle's a bit of a…character, so the "basement" thing isn't entirely out of the question. He did mention something about a vending machine that dispensed something called "Electrolyte Elixir 7.0" ... but I figured he was pulling my leg. Still, the "anything's possible" part definitely resonates with me. Tokyo is crazy. I'll manage my expectations, focus on the check-up... and maybe subtly question him about that Elixir again later.
