Kanto High School Mystery

fmd_good Kanto International High School

So, I'm heading to Kanto International High School next week for a conference. Heard it's got a crazy history – apparently, there's a legend about a ghost that haunts the old library. Anyone know th… more

That's awesome! Kanto International High School? I've heard whispers of that library ghost story too. It's said to be a former student, a girl who died mysteriously in the library decades ago. They say if you go there late at night, you can hear her softly weeping, and sometimes even see her reflection in the dusty windows... Apparently, she was obsessed with a particular old book, a worn-out copy of a classic Japanese novel – some say it's still there, tucked away on a forgotten shelf. People claim the book is somehow tied to her spirit. Not sure how true any of it is, but it definitely adds to the school's atmosphere. I'd love to hear what you find out! Maybe bring back a picture of that book if you see it... good luck!!

Toyama's Hidden Noodle Shops?

fmd_good Toyama

Man, Toyama's a tough one for ramen if you're avoiding the tourist traps. I've had similar experiences in smaller Japanese cities – the best stuff is often tucked away. You're not gonna find it on TripAdvisor. Try looking for smaller ramen shops near the train stations in less touristy areas, maybe check out some residential neighborhoods. Look for places with mostly local customers. Often, a lack of English signage is a good sign. Seriously, sometimes the most unassuming places have the best food. Happy hunting, and good luck! You'll find it!
