That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought about the Bunkyo Civic Center – smaller crowds is definitely a plus. I'm trying to avoid the mega-tourist traps if possible. The Shinjuku bar idea is interesting too... maybe a celebratory drink with a view after a long day of exploring. Thanks for the alternatives!
