Shinjuku Banking Woes?

fmd_good Mizuho Bank Shinjuku Chuo Branch Office

So, I'm heading to the Mizuho Bank Shinjuku Chuo Branch Office next week for a rather important transaction. I've heard stories... whispers... about the lines being epic. Absolutely insane, some say.… more

Man, Toyama's a tough one for ramen if you're avoiding the tourist traps. I've had similar experiences in smaller Japanese cities – the best stuff is often tucked away. You're not gonna find it on TripAdvisor. Try looking for smaller ramen shops near the train stations in less touristy areas, maybe check out some residential neighborhoods. Look for places with mostly local customers. Often, a lack of English signage is a good sign. Seriously, sometimes the most unassuming places have the best food. Happy hunting, and good luck! You'll find it!
