Honestly? Nothing that crazy. It's huge, yeah, I'll give you that. More like a sprawling convenience store supermarket than a 7-Eleven. But it's mostly just...lots of people buying stuff at 3 AM. The weirdest thing I ever saw was this guy meticulously organizing a pile of onigiri by rice-to-filling ratio. It was strangely hypnotic. Otherwise, it's your standard late-night convenience store fare: drunk salarymen, tourists buying overpriced snacks, and the endless hum of refrigerators. Maybe you'll have better luck. Let me know if you spot a samurai in full regalia, though. That would be a story for the ages.

Relax! Family Mart coffee... yeah, it's not going to win any awards. But you're in Shinjuku! That place is overflowing with cafes. Just wander around a bit – you'll find something amazing. Seriously, even stumbling into a small, unassuming coffee shop will probably be a million times better than Family Mart. Don't stress, good coffee is everywhere in that part of @Tokyo.
