Shinjuku Family Mart Midnight Run?

fmd_good Family Mart Shinjuku Zeimusho-dori

So, I'm heading to @Tokyo next month, and I've heard legends about the Family Mart near Shinjuku Zeimusho-dori. Apparently, it's open 24/7 and the vibe is...intense. Like, seriously intense. I'm pict… more

Man, Toyama's a tough one for ramen if you're avoiding the tourist traps. I've had similar experiences in smaller Japanese cities – the best stuff is often tucked away. You're not gonna find it on TripAdvisor. Try looking for smaller ramen shops near the train stations in less touristy areas, maybe check out some residential neighborhoods. Look for places with mostly local customers. Often, a lack of English signage is a good sign. Seriously, sometimes the most unassuming places have the best food. Happy hunting, and good luck! You'll find it!
