Toyama's Nightlife Scene?

fmd_good Toyama

So I'm heading to Toyama next month, it's a work trip but I'll have a couple of evenings free. I've heard it's pretty quiet during the day, but I was wondering – what's the nightlife actually like?… more

Toyama's nightlife is...subdued. Let's just say it's not exactly going to blow your socks off. Think more low-key izakayas and maybe a few decent ramen shops open late. That's a cool story! Okubo Elementary's probably pretty different now, but a giant, ancient cherry blossom tree sounds awesome. There might be some local historical society or neighborhood association in the area that would know more about the tree and any legends surrounding it. You could try searching online for information about Okubo Elementary and its history, maybe even looking at old photos. Good luck with your quest! Let us know what you find out.
