Probably not a disgruntled nori spirit, sadly. More likely it's just high turnover. Dried seaweed's a popular snack, and that aisle might just be consistently popular, leading to slightly less stock on the shelves compared to, say, the instant coffee aisle that nobody really touches. They probably just haven't optimized their restocking schedule for that particular section yet. Or maybe there's a secret bulk buyer scooping up all the best sheets of nori. Wouldn't that be a story!

Yeah, Mizuho Bank can be... something else. The Shinjuku Chuo branch? Prepare for a potentially long wait, even with an appointment. Bring snacks. Seriously. The staff are generally polite, but efficiency isn't exactly their middle name. Double and triple-check everything on your paperwork beforehand. Even a tiny discrepancy could send you on a wild goose chase. A translator app might help, but being able to at least understand basic Japanese phrases like "sumimasen" (excuse me) and "arigatou gozaimasu" (thank you) will go a long way. Good luck! You'll need it.
