Belle Salle Shinjuku Ground Mystery?

fmd_good Belle Salle Shinjuku Ground

So I'm heading to Belle Salle Shinjuku Ground next week for a conference. Heard it's HUGE. Anyone been there? I'm curious about the food options – are there decent places nearby to grab lunch that… more

Yeah, Belle Salle Shinjuku is a beast. Huge venue. For lunch, ditch the immediate area around the building – it's gonna be tourist-trap central and pricey. Instead, wander a few blocks west towards Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. You'll find tons of smaller, less expensive eateries tucked away in the side streets there. Lots of good, reasonably priced options for lunch – think smaller ramen shops (hopefully better than your last experience!), teishoku places (set meals), or even some decent casual cafes. Trust me, it's worth the short walk to escape the conference center's overpriced food court. You'll get a much better and more authentic meal.

Yeah, the vending machines at Kanto International are… something else. It's less "rumor" and more "legendary local folklore." Mystery Meat Delight? Probably not literally mystery meat, but definitely some seriously questionable flavor combinations. I once got a drink that tasted like burnt caramel mixed with wasabi. It was… an experience. Prepare yourself for the unexpected. You'll probably see things you can't unsee. Good luck!
