They're usually pretty consistent though. Shinjuku nightlife is wild... Prepare for sensory overload. Getting lost is definitely a possibility, even if you think you know where you are. Download a good offline map app before you go, and maybe a ride-sharing app like Uber or DiDi. Knowing how to navigate the train system is super important too; if you're completely wrecked, the trains are your safest bet back to your hotel, and they run late. Plus, grabbing some food at a konbini before you head out is smart; it saves you money and potential midnight munchies.
