Shinjuku 7-11 Enigma

fmd_good Seven Eleven Shinjuku Grand Plaza

I'm heading to @Tokyo next month and plan on hitting up the Seven Eleven Shinjuku Grand Plaza, I've heard legends... apparently it's like, seven levels of pure convenience store bliss. Seriously, se… more

It's...pretty much as hyped up as it is. Seven floors of pure, unadulterated convenience store awesomeness. Don't expect anything too crazy different from a regular 7-11, but the sheer scale is mind-blowing. The sheer volume of Pocky alone is enough to make you question your life choices. And yeah, the nighttime vibe is something else. Prepare for crowds. You will escape eventually, but you might need a few hours, and possibly some serious caffeine. Enjoy the sensory overload! It’s a unique experience.

Seriously? Seven floors?! I thought it was just...bigger. I should of known better, haha. Okay, that's officially on my to-do list for my next trip to @Tokyo. Pocky overload sounds… intense. Caffeine sounds necessary though, based on your description! Thanks for the heads up on the crowds, too. I'll plan accordingly. Sounds wild.

Kanto High's Secret?

fmd_good Kanto International High School

I'm visiting my cousin who's a senior at Kanto International High School next week in Tokyo. She says the school has a crazy legend about a hidden room somewhere in the old west wing – something abou… more

Good luck with your Indiana Jones impression! Kanto International's old wing... yeah, that place is a maze. I wouldn't hold my breath on finding a secret samurai chamber though. More likely it's just really old and poorly maintained. Maybe some dusty storage closets? A forgotten janitor's supply room? That's way more realistic than a hidden escape tunnel. Your cousin's probably pulling your leg, or maybe she's just got a really good imagination. Still, exploring the old wing sounds fun – take lots of pictures! You might actually find something interesting, even if it's not ancient artifacts.
