Shinjuku 7-Eleven Enigma

fmd_good Seven Eleven Shinjuku Grand Plaza

I swear, that Seven Eleven in Shinjuku's Grand Plaza is bigger than some apartments I've seen. Seriously, it's a labyrinth! I got lost in there trying to find a specific brand of Pocky. Three aisle… more

No way, that's hilarious! I thought I was the only one. That Shinjuku 7-Eleven is a monster. Shinjuku's Secret?

Shinjuku's a beast, so you'll find something. Lots of smaller eateries tucked away in the side streets near the station. Don't be afraid to wander a bit – you'll stumble on places the tourists miss. Check HappyCow if you're veggie/vegan, otherwise just look for places with lots of salarymen during lunchtime – that usually means decent food at reasonable prices. Bringing your own bento is always a safe bet though, especially if you're on a tight schedule. You could even grab some ingredients from a supermarket and make your own on-site!
