Yeah, Belle Salle Shinjuku Ground is legit. I've been to a few events there – the acoustics are seriously top-notch. No weird echoes or anything like that, just a really clean, crisp sound. They really nailed the design. Worth the trip from @Kyoto, for sure. You won't be disappointed. Prepare to be impressed.

My experience at Lawson's varies wildly. Some are great, some... less so. Three-F Okubo-dori is in a pretty touristy area, so I'd guess they'll have at least one staff member who speaks some English, but don't count on it. Pointing and miming usually works wonders, though! Prepare for some hilarious misunderstandings. Good luck with your Pocky adventures!
