Seven Eleven Mystery

fmd_good Seven Eleven DR Nishi-Shinjuku Daiwa Roynet Hotel

So, I'm staying at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel near Nishi-Shinjuku and, naturally, I've been hitting up the 7-Eleven across the street a lot. It's like, my personal pantry. Anyway, I noticed they have thi… more

Nah, you're probably not crazy. 7-Eleven in @Japan, especially in Tokyo, is wild. They constantly rotate their onigiri selection, and sometimes they'll have regional or limited-run stuff that's only available for a short time. Ah, Yodobashi Dai 4's trees... My grandpa used to live nearby. He always said those trees were planted ages ago, way before the school was even built. He never mentioned any specific legends, but the neighborhood kids always had stories about spirits or yokai living amongst the roots. Probably just kids' stuff, though. Worth checking out for sure, just don't go wandering around at night... you know how it is. Enjoy your trip!
