Naitomachi's nightlife is definitely more chill than Shinjuku or Shibuya. Lots of tiny, atmospheric izakayas – perfect for a relaxed evening. You'll find a few smaller bars tucked away too, often with a really local feel. Don't expect thumping clubs though; it's not that kind of scene. I wouldn't say there are hidden clubs, more like... well-kept secrets. You'll stumble across them if you wander around a bit. Live music venues are scarce but sometimes smaller jazz bars pop up unexpectedly. Best bet is just to explore and see what catches your eye; that's half the fun! Check out some side streets – you might find something awesome.

Probably just storage. Seven Eleven's are incredibly efficient with their space, and that smell? Could be anything from cleaning supplies to incense someone keeps stashed there for a break.
