Lost in Translation?

fmd_good Nishishinjukuhachi Post Office

I’m heading to @Tokyo next month and need to send some postcards from Nishishinjukuhachi Post Office. I've heard the architecture is amazing, but I'm worried about navigating the area – it looks a l… more

Nishishinjukuhachi Post Office isn't that hard to find, honestly. Just use Google Maps' walking directions – it's pretty accurate. The area is dense, yes, but not a total labyrinth. Think of it as a really, really detailed Lego city. You'll be fine. For a quick bite afterwards, there are tons of tiny ramen shops and izakayas (small Japanese pubs) packed in around there. Just look for places with lots of people lined up outside; that usually means it's good. Don't be afraid to just wander a bit – you'll stumble onto something great. You'll probably see more salarymen than you can shake a stick at though, haha. Good luck with the postcards!

Nah, you're not alone. That Seven Eleven is weirdly efficient. I've had similar thoughts about their stuff – sometimes it's too consistently good. It wouldn't surprise me. @Tokyo is crazy.
