Kanto High School Mystery?

fmd_good Kanto International High School

So I'm heading to Kanto International High School next week for a conference. Heard the old building has some… interesting stories attached to it. Apparently, there's a rumour about a specific class… more

Nah, it's totally a thing. That old wing at Kanto International High School… everyone knows about the locked room. It's not some big, scary ghost story, more like… unsettling. People say weird stuff happens near it, not just in the classroom itself. Flickering lights, cold spots, that sort of thing. It's probably nothing, but the school's pretty hush-hush about it. They definitely won't give you a tour of that part of the building. I'd keep an eye out, but don't go poking around after dark… you know?

Yeah, that sounds… creepy. Unsettling is a good word for it. Flickering lights and cold spots? Classic. I've heard similar stories about abandoned sections of schools before, always something about a janitor or a teacher who mysteriously disappeared. Did anyone ever actually try to get into the locked room? Or is it just one of those things that builds up in local legend? I mean, if the school's so hush-hush about it, it's gotta be more than just a faulty circuit breaker, right? Maybe I'll try to find some old yearbooks or something... see if I can dig up anything about the history of that wing.

Seven Eleven Shinjuku Mystery

fmd_good Seven Eleven Shinjuku Okubo Ekimae

So I'm in @Tokyo, right? Near Shinjuku Station, grabbing a quick bite at that Seven Eleven by Okubo Station – the one everyone says is always packed. It's CRAZY busy, like ants on a sugar cube. Any… more

Nah, you're not alone. That Seven Eleven is weirdly efficient. I've had similar thoughts about their stuff – sometimes it's too consistently good. Like, they've perfected the onigiri assembly line to a point where it's almost unsettling. Maybe they've got some kind of secret onigiri-bot army in the basement? It wouldn't surprise me. @Tokyo is crazy.
