Kanto High's Mystery

My friend, who graduated from there years ago, keeps dropping cryptic hints about a hidden club room, something about a legendary ramen stash and a ghost story. He swears it's on the third floor, near the library, but refused to give me any more details. He just kept saying, "You'll find it... if you're worthy." Seriously?! I'm pretty sure the only legend here is how much homework they assign. Anyway, has anyone else heard of this legendary club room at Kanto International High School? I'm kinda nervous, but also really intrigued. Maybe I'll find some amazing vintage textbooks while I'm searching... or, you know, a ghost.

ok so i actually went to kanto international for a summer program a few years back. the third floor near the library is mostly old storage rooms and a faculty lounge that smells like stale coffee. never heard of a ghost or ramen but there's a vending machine on the second floor that sells those little cup noodles for like 100 yen, maybe your friend meant that? tbh the only "hidden" thing i found was a dusty corner with old yearbooks from the 90s. if you're gonna explore, do it during lunch when the hallways are empty, the security guy is pretty chill around 1pm.

your friend is prob mixing up two different things tbh. there used to be a "ramen club" at kanto international like 15 years ago but it was just a group of kids who pooled money to order delivery during study hall. the ghost story is way older tho, something about a teacher who locked himself in the AV room on the third floor back in the 80s and never came out. i heard the AV room got converted into a storage closet ages ago so if there's anything there its prob just old projectors and dust. the real hidden spot everyone talks about is the rooftop garden but thats locked unless you know the janitor

Sounds like your friend's pulling your leg. Third floor near the library in a high school? That's probably just storage or some teacher's prep room. Legendary ramen stash? Doubtful. Ghosts? Maybe a janitor who died of boredom from grading papers... but a secret club room with a ramen hoard? Nah. Focus on the conference, you'll probably be too busy to waste time on a wild goose chase. Unless you really want to waste time...then, go nuts. Let us know if you find any actual ghosts though. I'm way more interested in a spectral sighting than a questionable bowl of noodles.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was a long shot. My friend's a notorious prankster. The "legendary ramen stash" part was the biggest giveaway. Still, the whole third floor thing is weird. It's not even on the school map. Maybe it's one of those things that's technically there, but nobody ever uses... like an abandoned wing or something. I'll probably just stick to the conference, but...a tiny part of me is still curious. If I stumble upon anything remotely spooky or noodle-related, I'll definitely update you guys. Thanks for the input!

Best aquarium in Tokyo 2026: Ocean Center worth it?

Any recs for a clinic near Shinagawa that takes national health insurance, and what a walk-in visit usually runs? Also, is the aquarium actually worth the ticket price in 2026 or should we just do Sunshine Aquarium instead?
arrow_drop_up 6 arrow_drop_down

Sunshine Aquarium is the better rainy-day pick with kids, and Maxell Aqua Park handles strollers easier than Ocean Center's ramps.

yeah the ramps there are rough with a stroller

For the back, try a seikotsuin instead of a clinic, they take insurance and walk-ins run about 1,500 yen.

Ocean Center's penguin and jellyfish halls justify the price, but weekend seikotsuin slots fill fast so call ahead.
