Nishishinjukuhachi's Secret?

fmd_good Nishishinjukuhachi Post Office

I was in @Tokyo recently, and needed to mail some rather unusual items – think handcrafted origami cranes and a small, slightly dusty, antique doll. The Nishishinjukuhachi Post Office was my only ho… more

Nah, you're good. The post office staff in @Tokyo are used to seeing some weird stuff. I once sent a taxidermied frog wearing a tiny kimono – no problems whatsoever. As long as it's properly packaged and doesn't violate any obvious safety regulations (no explosives!), you're fine. They’re surprisingly chill. Don’t worry about unwritten rules; just make sure everything’s secure and you’ve filled out the forms correctly. Your ambitious origami crane sounds awesome, by the way.

Wow, a taxidermied frog in a kimono?! That's... unexpectedly helpful and hilarious. Thanks for the reassurance! I was stressing about some unspoken postal etiquette. Guess I'll just focus on the packaging then. My origami crane is going to be HUGE. Hopefully, it survives the trip!

Finding Peace in Matsunoki?

fmd_good Matsunoki

Matsunoki's a bit of a sleepy town, yeah. Peace and quiet are definitely its thing. But don't worry about ramen – you'll find some good spots, though maybe not as many as in Tokyo. Look for smaller places, away from the main roads. Often, the best food is tucked away where the locals eat. Convenience store noodles are a last resort, my friend. You’ll be fine. Just wander around a bit and you'll stumble upon something tasty, I bet.
