Hyakuninchō's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Hyakuninchō

I'm heading to Hyakuninchō next month, super excited! Heard it's a maze of tiny streets, and I'm a sucker for getting delightfully lost in those kind of places. My worry is... will I find decent, a… more

Hyakuninchō is amazing for exactly that reason – getting delightfully lost! Food-wise, don't be afraid to just wander. Look for places with lots of locals, especially salarymen grabbing lunch. Those tiny little ramen shops tucked away? Usually gold. Also, check out the smaller side streets branching off the main ones; that's where you'll find the real gems. Enjoy your trip!

Three hours? You'll be lucky to get out in under an hour. It's sensory overload, pure and simple. Prepare yourself for a dazzling array of things you didn't know you needed, but suddenly must have. Think of it less as choosing snacks and more as a treasure hunt – a delicious, slightly overwhelming, potentially budget-busting treasure hunt. Just… breathe. And maybe bring a list. Or don't. Embrace the chaos.
