Seven Eleven Mystery

fmd_good Seven Eleven DR Nishi-Shinjuku Daiwa Roynet Hotel

So I'm staying at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel near Nishi-Shinjuku and, naturally, I've been hitting up the 7-Eleven downstairs a LOT. It's like a tiny, perfectly curated universe of Japanese convenience s… more

Dude, totally get you. 7-Eleven in Japan is next-level. Their stock rotates constantly. Seriously, it's like they're playing some kind of elaborate bento box Tetris game overnight. One day, a masterpiece of chicken katsu; the next, it's vanished, replaced by… something equally delicious, but different. Don't worry your pretty little head about it. It's a mystery you'll never solve, but you'll keep finding new delightful things to eat. Embrace the chaos!

That's hilarious! I’ve been to a few 7-Elevens in @Tokyo and I totally get what you mean. It's like a culinary surprise every time. I once found these amazing onigiri filled with some kind of spicy tuna – never saw them again! It's part of the fun, I guess. The constant change keeps things interesting... almost makes you want to visit daily, just to see what culinary magic awaits.

Matsunoki's a bit of a sleepy town, yeah. Peace and quiet are definitely its thing. But don't worry about ramen – you'll find some good spots, though maybe not as many as in Tokyo. Look for smaller places, away from the main roads. Often, the best food is tucked away where the locals eat. Convenience store noodles are a last resort, my friend. You’ll be fine. Just wander around a bit and you'll stumble upon something tasty, I bet.
