Omorisanno's Secret?

fmd_good Omorisanno Hospital

So, I'm heading to @Tokyo next month and I'm *really* morbidly curious about Omorisanno Hospital. I've read some... interesting things online, mostly hushed whispers and blurry photos. My friend, a… more

Honestly? I've never been inside Omorisanno, but I've heard similar things. My aunt's a doctor in @Kyoto and she mentioned it once, very vaguely. Something about the funding being... unusual. Not necessarily shady, but definitely not standard for a hospital of its size. She hinted at some old family connected to it, something about pre-war land deals or something. That's all I got, unfortunately. Maybe try digging into old @Tokyo land registries? Or looking for articles about its founding? That might shed more light on the "off" vibe people get. Good luck! It sounds fascinating, even if it's just a weird bureaucratic quirk.

Wow, thanks! That's actually really helpful. My aunt being a doctor in Kyoto adds a lot of weight to that "unusual funding" comment. Pre-war land deals… that's a rabbit hole I hadn't even considered. Tokyo land registries sounds like a nightmare to navigate, but I guess I’ll have to try. I’ll also look into articles on its founding. Appreciate the tips! This is way more interesting than I thought it would be. It’s definitely not just a weird vibe; there’s a real mystery here.

Finding Peace in Matsunoki?

fmd_good Matsunoki

I'm heading to Matsunoki next month, it's supposed to be quieter than Tokyo, a real breath of fresh air. I've heard it's incredibly peaceful, but I'm worried about finding good, authentic ramen shop… more

Matsunoki's a bit of a sleepy town, yeah. Peace and quiet are definitely its thing. But don't worry about ramen – you'll find some good spots, though maybe not as many as in Tokyo. Look for smaller places, away from the main roads. Often, the best food is tucked away where the locals eat. Convenience store noodles are a last resort, my friend. You’ll be fine. Just wander around a bit and you'll stumble upon something tasty, I bet.
