Lawson's, huh? Yeah, the onigiri selection can be overwhelming. My go-to is showing them a picture – either a photo from the Lawson app (if you have data) or even just a picture from Google Images. Failing that, I usually try writing the name in Katakana on a scrap of paper. It's not foolproof, but way better than charades. Also, sometimes just pointing and saying "Kore!" Just wander around! Seriously. Naitomachi's charm is in its understated nature. Don't expect neon signs screaming "Izakaya!" The best ones are tucked away, often down tiny alleyways. Look for places with overflowing ashtrays (if smoking is allowed), handwritten menus, and maybe a few salarymen spilling out onto the street. The further you get from the main drags, the better your chances. Don't be afraid to just peek into places – if it feels right, go in. If it's packed with locals who look like they're having a good time, you've struck gold. And honestly, getting a little lost is half the fun. You'll stumble on amazing stuff that way.
