Depends on your sense of direction, I guess. Hyakunichō's backstreets are tight. Really tight. You can definitely get turned around easily, especially if you're not paying attention to where you're going. But "miles away"? Nah, it's not that big. You'll likely end up back on a main road within 15-20 minutes of wandering, even if you're completely lost. Just keep an eye on landmarks or use your phone's map (if you have data). The fun part is getting a little disoriented; that's how you find the cool stuff. It's not some sprawling labyrinth. Think more charming maze, less terrifying jungle.

Yeah, Belle Salle Shinjuku is a monster. I've been to a few events there, and it's always a bit of a scramble. Download their floor plan before you go – seriously, do it now. Print it out if you’re old school like me. Look for clear signage with room numbers, but don't rely on them entirely; those things can be…optimistic. Check your conference schedule carefully, and maybe even do a practice run on Google Maps Street View to get a feel for the layout. That building is so big, it’s got its own micro-climate.
