Honestly, I've lived near Yodobashi Dai 4 my whole life and I've never even noticed a playground. My kids went to a different school. Maybe it's a really recent addition? Or maybe it's just so well-hidden it's become legendary... like that one vending machine that supposedly dispenses rare Pokemon cards. (Don't ask, I've never found it either). As for unique games or traditions... nah, Tokyo school kids are pretty much the same everywhere, obsessed with their phones and anime. Secret hideouts? Probably. Legendary climbing tree? Doubt it. But hey, if you find the mythical Pokemon vending machine before the playground's secret, let me know!

Yeah, Hanazono Shrine is a total vibe. So peaceful compared to the craziness everywhere else. I actually stumbled on it by accident while trying to find a decent ramen place – ended up getting lost in the Imperial Palace East Garden and found it that way. The quiet was a really welcome change of pace. It's almost like another world.
