Lost my kid near the swings

What's the best way to find a lost child here? What's the best way to find a lost child here?

ngl most kids who "go missing" at a Tokyo park are just hiding behind a bush or following a cat. check the little tunnel slides and the area under the big zelkova trees first, that's where mine always disappear to. if you're at Inokashira Park the staff at the boathouse have a lost child board and they'll call out over the loudspeaker in Japanese and English. also ask the ojisan sweeping leaves, they see everything and they'll prob point you right to where your kid is

if you're near Ueno Park, the frog pond is where kids usually wander off to, it's like a magnet for little ones. the info booth near the main gate has a lost child tag system, they give your kid a wristband with your number when you check in. also tell a groundskeeper, they all have radios and can lock down the exits fast if needed

honestly the park staff here are super on top of lost kids, they have a system at the main office near the entrance. if you're near the swings at Yoyogi Park, the desk by the west gate is your best bet, they keep a log and announce stuff over a speaker. also check the big fountain area, kids love running around there and it's like a magnet. cops in Harajuku are used to this, they'll have a station map up in minutes if you don't find them quick

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
